Annotation

This release group documentation describes the Op.70 Piano Trio No. 1 in D ("Ghost") as "Piano Trio No.4", however this work is generally considered to be Beethoven's Piano Trio No. 5.
Similarly, this release describes the Piano Trio in E flat Op.70 No.2 as "Piano Trio No.5", when this work is generally considered to be Beethoven's Piano Trio No. 6.

MusicBrainz indicates the Opus 70 piano trios are nos. 5 and 6:

The list of Beethoven's compositions on Wikipedia, for example, also indicates that first Op.70 piano trio is No.5, and the 2nd Op.70 piano trio is No.6.

After looking in the Forums, I decided to change the track titles to reflect the conventional numbering of these piano trios, rather than follow the numbering in the liner notes for the release. I have not corrected the title of the release, even though the release title includes the incorrect numbering.
Compilation.
Digitally remastered in 2001.
