Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Rodgers and Hart Song Book

~ Release by Ella Fitzgerald (see all versions of this release, 11 available)

Annotation

The second in the Songbook series, this is another Ella's masterpiece, in a slightly more pop approach.
Recommended.
This is the canonical edition with alternate takes.
First released as a 2 LP set (MGV 4002-2) and standalone (MGV 4022 & MGV 4023), that were reissued as well as VE2 2519, MGVS 6009 & MGVS 6010.
Standalone edition was issued separately in cd lately, though without the alternate Lover monaural take.
