Annotation
72 minutes (actually 71:15) from the Stopfenreuther Au near Hainburg, lower Austria. Recorded in May 1990.
16 microphones hidden in the wetlands for a period of 14 days registered sound events as they develop in nature in the absence of man. The sounds thus captured were transmitted live to an improvised studio at the Museum of Art History in Vienna and partly recorded by Bill Fontana. At the end of 1994 Bill Fontana produced the present selection from his original recordings.
10 pages booklet with texts in english and german.
