Annotation

Information about the concert at The International Hotel, Las Vegas.
This concert took place in 22 and 23 May, 1970, was composed by six shows (three shows per day) and did include 79 performances (instrumental intros & closings by the band not counting). See here, pp. 40-41, for the details. How this concert was released?

  1. The most known release was the album "Live at The International, Las Vegas" (Mercury SR-61278, 1970), but it includes only 10 performances from this concert.
  2. The most complete release was this 11 LP set. The records 5 and 6 ("Live at The International, Las Vegas", Vol. 1 & 2) contain in sum 35 performances from this concert (including all ten from the release 1).
  3. The compiler of the 3 CD-set "The Killer Live! (1964-1970)" (Hip-O Select, B0016749-02, 2012) seems having ignore the release 2, judging this note in the booklet: "Tracks 6 through 15 on disc 3 are previously unreleased." In fact the disc 3 contains seven previously unreleased performances from this concert (tracks 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15). The disc 2 contains ten performances from the release 1.
  4. Furthemore, the CD compilation "Killer: The Mercury Years, Volume 2: 1969-1972" (PolyGram, 1989) contains some performances from this concert, including "Today I Started Loving You Again" (track 16), not present in any release cited above.

So only 43 performances from 79 ones from this two-day concert was released so far.
