Complete (1st edition)

~ Release by Bruce Springsteen (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

Mail order-only release; issued exclusively for the "Scandinavian Music Club (SMC)" in Sweden.

Box has a unique "River"-era live shot on the front and contains standard Dutch pressings of the albums. Catalogue number only on the box, 003 217. The box itself is not an official release.

There are two releases from "SMC " with the exact same box and catalogue number.

1st edition included 6 albums (The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle, Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J., Born To Run, Darkness On The Edge Of Town, The River, Nebraska).

2nd edition included 7 albums. Born in the USA was now added.

SMC made the boxes and put in whatever record they got from CBS/Sony. Sunburst labels were used 1975-1985. During 1985 CBS changed to red labels. The first pressings had only sunburst labels. Later pressings could include both labels. There are boxes with and without the poster to the Born to run album.
