Matrix: 1sbd>D-100 (48k) 2Audix m1290c (DIN, 12 ft. up)>MP-2>Sony MZ-R70

Transfer: 1Tascam DA-20MKII>Audiophile USB>CE Pro 2.0 2Sony MXD-D400>Hosa ODL-276>Audiophile USB>CE Pro 2.0; mixdown>CDWav>FLAC(level8)

Processing included convert to 32 b.f., fades, noise reduction on Source 2 to reduce ventilation noise, -6db with on Source 2 between songs with fades for same, resample Source 1 to 44.1, mixing (70% Source 1 30% Source 2), EQ, minimal Waves L2 with dither to 16bit (Ultra).

The time-aligning of the sources was challenging at times. The variable amounts of reverb (from one song to the next, especially, and sometimes even within a song) complicated this. The reverb on the drums in the d2t10 during the instrumental interplay was particularly difficult to align, as it sounded rather like a mess even in the sbd source. There are still some spots where it is not perfect, but I lack clear visual markers in both sources to clearly align these short spots. It's very, very close, though. There are several places that are perfectly aligned but sound suspicious due to adjustments to the reverb at the board.

*d1t01--a couple of brief instances of feedback
*minidisc swap occurred before d2t07; part of the band introductions come from sbd only

Kim Taylor's opening set will fit at the start of Disc 1; the end-of-disc1 / start-of-disc2 fades and included cover art reflect that placement.
