Wrong catalogue numbers

The following list contains cases when tracks printed on CD covers reference wrong catalogue numbers. The right catalogue numbers were found by analyzing the catalogue (movement names etc), and by comparing melodies in tracks on physical CD with several recordings done by other artists available on YouTube. Names of all tracks in this release on MusicBrainz contains already corrected catalogue numbers.

* CD 5, tracks 4-6 are wrongly referenced on the CD cover as "Flute Concerto in D minor, Wq.22 (H.425)". These tracks contain a Flute Concerto in D minor, H.484.1. The referenced Wq.22 (H.425) is a Keyboard Concerto in D minor, of which the Flute Concerto is an arrangement.

* CD 7, track 8 is wrongly referenced on the CD cover as "Fantasia and Fugue in C minor, Wq.119:7 (H.103)". This track indeed contains the Fantasia and Fugue in C minor, Wq.119:7, but the Helm catalogue number is wrong. The correct Helm catalogue number is H.75.5. The referenced H.103 is not used in Helm catalogue.

* CD 10, tracks 1-3 are wrongly referenced on the CD cover as "Concerto in D minor Wq.22 (H.425) for recorder (flute) & strings". Wq.22 (H.425) is a concerto for keyboard (harpsichord) and strings. H.484.1 is an arrangement of H.425 for a flute.

* CD 10, tracks 10-12 are wrongly referenced on the CD cover as "Trio in F Wq.159 (H.588) for bass recorder, viola & b.c." The Trio Sonata in F for bass recorder, viola and continuo is indeed H.588, but it is Wq.163. The referenced work Wq.159 is a Trio Sonata in B-flat major Wq. 159 (H.587) for 2 violins and continuo. The error may be caused by the fact that Wq.163 (H.588) is an arrangement of Wq.159 (H.587).

* CD 15, tracks 17-19 are wrongly referenced as "Sonata in G minor for Keyboard (Harpsichord) and Violin, H.524.5". These tracks contain the Sonata in G minor for Keyboard in Violin, H.542.5. The Helm catalogue does not contain a work H.524.5.

* CD 21, tracks 6-8 are wrongly referenced as "Sonata no. 2 in D minor (H.268)". These tracks indeed contain the Sonata no. 2 in D minor, Wq.57:4, but the Helm catalogue number is H.208. The referenced work H.268 is a Rondo in G major, Wq.59:2.

* CD 22, tracks 2-4 are wrongly referenced as "Sonata no. 2 in E minor (H.288)". These tracks indeed contain the Sonata no. 2 in E minor, Wq.58:4, but the Helm catalogue number is H.188. The referenced work H.288 is a Rondo in E-flat major, Wq.61:1.

* CD 24, tracks 10-12 are wrongly referenced as "Keyboard Symphony in E minor, Wq.122:3 (H.653) (arr. Wq.178)". These tracks indeed contain the Keyboard Symphony in E minor, Wq.122:3, but the Helm catalogue number is H.115. Wq.122:3 (H.115) is an arrangement of the referenced work H.653, which is a Symphony in E minor for orchestra, Wq.178 (H.653).

* CD 28, tracks 1-16 are wrongly referenced as "Gnadig und barmherzig ist der Herr, Wq.250 (H.281)". The right Helm catalogue number is H.821l (note the lower-case "l" at the end). The referenced work H.281 is a Sonata in E minor, Wq.59:1.

Wrong work names

The following list contains cases when tracks printed on CD covers reference correct catalogue numbers, but work names are wrong. The right names were found by consulting catalogues. Names of all tracks in this release on MusicBrainz contains already corrected work names.

* CD 7, tracks 5-7 are wrongly referenced on the CD cover as "Concerto for Organ, Strings and Continuo in B-flat, Wq.35 (H.446)". These tracks indeed contain the Concerto Wq.35 (H.446), but the concerto is in E-flat major, not in B-flat major. The concerto Wq.36 (H.447) is in B-flat major.

* CD 15, tracks 5-7 are wrongly referenced as "Sonata in D for Keyboard (Harpsichord) and Violin, Wq.72 (H.503)". These tracks indeed contain the Sonata for Keyboard and Violin, Wq.72 (H.503), but the sonata is in D minor.

* CD 20, track 11 is wrongly referenced as "Rondo no. 3 in A (H.262)". This track indeed contains the Rondo Wq.56:5 (H.262), but the work is in A minor.

Ambiguous references

* CD 11, tracks 13-15 are ambiguosly referenced on the CD cover as "Sonata in A Wq.146 (H.570/H.542) for traverso, violin, cello & harpsichord". The referenced work Wq.146 (H.570) is a Trio Sonata in A major for flute, violin and b.c. The second referenced work H.542 (not present in the Wotquenne catalogue) is an arrangement of H.570 for violin and keyboard (harpsichord). The performance may be a mix of both, taking into account recording instruments (traverso flute, violin, cello and harpsichord).
