As no publicly available information can be found regarding a “Medieval Sound Studio” in the city of New York, it is reasonable to surmise that this name refers either to a rented room within a larger recording facility or perhaps a private, home-based studio operated by Taurus.

It appears somewhat regularly in the liner notes for various Blood and Crescent Productions affiliated releases.

As 2026 saw the similar eponymous Fellwinter cassette and CD/LP releases, crediting discrepancies have made it unclear whether or not Mediaeval Sound Studio and Black Hall Studio both refer to the same location.
