The Khalilan Vol. 1 is the debut installment of The Khalilan trilogy and the foundational work of Digital Fusion Ney Music (DFNM) — the instrumental subgenre of Me'orav Music. In this context, Me'orav Music is established as a new musical genre that integrates World Music and spiritual essences with Progressive and Experimental frameworks.

​This EP functions as a structural exploration of the Me'orav soundscape, architecting a sonic dialogue between the ancestral timbres of the Ney flute and digital environments. The work focuses on the interaction between Middle Eastern Maqamat and Progressive Music, establishing the 'Me’orav' territory through rhythmic complexity and modular architecture, bridging traditional ethnic modalities with contemporary digital production.
