Shwedagon EP

Since his start with us last year, the talented Sydney based producer Persona has been making some leaps and bounds in both recognition and sound, and this new EP is without a doubt a perfect example of just how versatile this upcoming talent can truly be. Each track brings a noticeably different vibe to the release, Shwedagon, which is the first track to this 3 track EP, is a hands in the air peak time powerhouse, pushing the envelope of progressive and laying on some strong 2.0 influences that makes this track a sure fire way to fill the dance floor. The Digital Runner drops back to a more progressive approach, but pushes an infectiously energetic and rolling rhythmic bassline, backed by an incredible sustained lead and warm atmosphere, definitely a stand out track to say the least. Last but not least we have With You, which caters to the more classic and thus far known style of Persona, bringing lush melodies, warm basslines, lovely vocal samples and an overall melodic quality that time and time again reminds us why this artist stood out to us so much last year when we received his first demo. For us this EP is the epiphany of variety and we are so very proud to be showcasing such a masterpiece from this ever so talented artist.
