Das Marienleben

This is a recording of the original version of the work composed in 1923. There is also a reworked version from 1948.

The recording is the last part (vol. 7) of the Paul Hindemith Anthology series released during the years 1972 - 1977 by GSC Recordings. The whole series volumes:

• 1 Canonic variations, for 2 violins. 2 duets, for violin and clarinet. Sonata, for bassoon and piano. Kleine Klaviermusik ; 12 easy pieces on 5 notes, for piano.
