Volker Kriegel is Germany's best known guitarist and a favourite of today's Fusion, Rare Groove and Acid Jazz fans. This long overdue double CD retrospective acknowledges all periods of Kriegel's creative working, including recordings of his own influential formations Spectrum and Mild Maniac Orchestra, plus highlights of his recordings as a sideman for outstanding MPS productions. Featuring Dave Pike, Albert Mangelsdorff, Don "Sugarcane" Harris, Wolfgang Dauner, Rainer Brüninghaus, Eberhard Weber and many other top musicians.

An MPS classic, remastered with the new MOST PERFECT SOUND technique (192 kHz, 24 Bit), digitally transferred from the original master tapes.
