Montreal Forum, Montreal, Quebec 01/23/81

~ Release by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band (see all versions of this release, 8 available)

Annotation

First of a handful of JEMS 81 masters that weve never circulated in
the digital era (no DATs were ever made of these). So anything thats
around is from a vintage analog copy. We expect all to be upgrades to
what circulates.

Most were not recorded with our primary gear or from close vantage
points, so while good, they are not on par with our finest 70s
Springsteen recordings. That being said they do collectively form a
nice tier two from an underserved tour.

-‐Butterking for JEMS

Known faults

Slight cuts in “The Promised Land” and “Ramrod”. Slight cut between “Born to Run” and “Detroit Medley”.
