Working on his craft in the far reaches of the Purcell Mountain range in British Columbia, Simon Haiduk expresses a deep connection to the natural world with modern digital tools. Simon's music is reflexive with his vivid painting style, which join forces for his first full length album Pulse. The weaving of ambient post rock with the likes of singing bowls, tuvan throat singing, and choral passages gives this work a levity seldom afforded to a genre ripe with melancholia.
