Annotation

This version of David Bowie's collaboration with the Philadelphia Orchestra on Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf first came out on LP in 1978. It was released on CD in 1983. The version of this recording that is generally available now is called "David Bowie Narrates Peter and the Wolf" and has separate tracks for each movement of the two pieces. This older CD just has two long tracks.
