This late reissue bundles together The Defiant Ones and two unrelated jam tracks (apparently from Memphis 1958 or 1959).
That kind of assemblage is of course a bit messy (blame United Artists and/or Blue Note and/or EMI), but the material is definitely interesting.
Hard-bop amateurs can dig this eyes-closed.
