There seem to be diverging opinions about the release year. Some give 1969 ( http://animesalve.altervista.org/home/index.php/… http://www.viadelcampo.com/html/nuvole_barocche.… http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuvole_barocche ), others have 1968 (the very serious Discografia illustrata http://www.faberdeandre.com/bibliografia/discografia_illustrata.asp ; Discoteca di stato (Italian national music archive) http://discografia.dds.it/scheda_titolo.php?idt=… ; RAI (Italian national broadcasting company): http://www.italica.rai.it/eng/principal/topics/d… ).
The source for an eventual 1968 release seems to be a re-release by Philips in 1978 http://www.viadelcampo.com/html/fda_78.html . But viadelcampo.com obviously has doubts about the accuracy of this information: "Questo disco ha il contenuto di Nuvole Barocche. E' pubblicato dalla Philips (che rilevò la Roman Record Company che pubblicò Nuvole Barocche nel 1969) ma è datato 1968. In questa data non figura nei testi a mia disposizione." In any case they have left the release year for the RRC "Nuvole barocche" at 1969.
We agreed (see http://musicbrainz.org/show/edit/?editid=9699963) to keep 1969 as well, based additionally on the cover art of my original RRC vinyl disc, which is signed 'Mancini 69'
