Says Maisie from Queen Cult - "I was sat having coffee one day with a friend who was at a crossroads in their life, and I wanted to help them so bad but that wasn't up to me and I didn’t really know where to put that energy. It was like barking at a brick wall when I tried to offer advice, so 'Figure It Out' is homage to my friend who I love dearly and hope some day they will. This song really did pour out of me, a 'no nonsense' sonic, nothing fancy, I wanted to feel it out."
