Made in U.S.A. by WEA Manufacturing Inc. (on disc)

Manufactured by Polygram in Hanover, West Germany (in booklet)

Although this information suggests otherwise, this release was fully manufactured in the United States. The first CDs released in the USA were indeed manufactured in Germany and this information stayed with later releases.

Matrix

The earliest documented disc was glass mastered about 1991/92 (glass master version 3), but it is possible that there have been earlier versions released in the late 1980s. Thus a release date in 1987 is not guaranteed, but very likely (CD pressing started at SRC in September 1986).

Represses and Reissues

The first discs of this release were manufactured by Specialty Records Corporation. Represses may have mould SID IFPI 2U**. At the end of 1996 the plant was officially renamed to WEA Mfg. Olyphant. Later glass master versions may have no SRC credit but a WEA Mfg. Olyphant logo instead. Discs glass mastered after 2003 (by successor Cinram) have no manufacturer credit in the matrix.

Remark: No changes in artwork were made between the first US made CD release and the one manufactured by Cinram (after 2003). All discs were manufactured at the plant in Olyphant and will very likely generate the same disc ID.
