Annotation

The CD says “(P) 1970 MCA Records, Inc.” on the back cover, which leads me to believe it is based on a 1970 European LP release (issued among other labels on Coral with catalogue number COPS 1011). The front cover looks the same as on the LP as well. In 1963, the “Merry Christmas” album was made available in re-channeled (fake) stereo with added reverb, and it’s this version that is used for both the European LP and CD (both are called “White Christmas” for the record). This CD release is the only one available in Europe to date, as far as I know. It was previously available with catalogue number MCD30195.
