Southland Tales: Music from the Motion Picture (Unreleased two-disc edition.)

~ Release by Various Artists (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

The two-disc edition of the Southland Tales soundtrack was compiled for publishing in 2006, but never made it to release. A single disc version made it to stores in 2007. This expanded version includes a lot more of Moby's instrumental scoring work (some of which was featured on the regular and expanded Hotel album tracklists, and some would be reworked in future). The pieces 'Water Pistol', 'It Looks Down', and 'Ceanograph' remain exclusive to this tracklist. This version of the soundtrack also includes dialogue sections from the movie. As well as a lot more of the music licenced for inclusion – including a still officially unreleased live version of Planet Telex by Radiohead.
