Love Duets

~ Release by Georg Friedrich Händel; Suzie LeBlanc, Daniel Taylor, Arion, Stephen Stubbs (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

The title is somewhat misleading, as only 4 of the 14 tracks are actually duets between soprano and countertenor. Two are countertenor solos, three are soprano solos, and five are instrumental preludes and overtures.

Stephen Stubbs is given credit for Direction (and performance of guitar and lute as a member of the ensemble Arion)

Recorded at the Church of St.-Augustin at St.-Augustin de Mirabel, Quebec, January and August, 2002
