Annotation

Busoni left the score unfinished. His pupil Philipp Jarnach completed it. In 1982, Antony Beaumont created an alternate completion using sketches previously believed to have been lost. The recording follows the Jarnach completion. To hear the Beaumont completion, substitute CD3 track 5 with track 12; and CD3 track 10 with tracks 13 & 14.
