Annotation

24-bit remastered version of this show, taken from the original source by user "notveryinteresting." Split into virtual "discs" by artist to be more easily parsed at a glance. Available only through various torrents or peer-to-peer programs.

Notes on recording:
"NINE INCH NAILS / DAVID BOWIE
ST LOUIS, MO : RIVERPORT AMPHITHEATRE
10/11/95

Soundboard -> DAT Clone -> CDRW700 -> EAC -> Soundforge -> FLAC -> Ableton Live

(this is a seamless performance)"

Additional notes from bootleg producer "notveryinteresting":

"Remastered version of the David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails joint Dissonance Outside tour. Specifically the show at the Riverport Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Missouri on October 11, 1995. This concert was released in a multitude of formats, as bootlegs first, but none of them I could find were in a good enough quality. The source of all of these is a soundboard recording that is flawed in many ways.

Some of the things that are wrong with this original recording:
1. Very thin and badly EQ’ed, too much highs, very little low end(mostly fixed)
2. Very harsh and painful sibilance(reduced with filtered compression, not too harsh but still present)
3. No loudness at all, no compression (multiband compression)
4. Track skips and hiccups (not fixed)
5. Stereo balance(L-R) off to one side for some songs(fixed), sometimes switching midway song(not fixed)
6. No ‘live’ feel (fixed, added gentle reverb and other things to mids)"
