The Conducted Tom Lehrer

~ Release by Tom Lehrer (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

From bandcamp:

A new compilation of every song Tom ever recorded with an orchestra, including material from The Electric Company.

This collection includes the best known versions of "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" and "The Masochism Tango", both of which have been painstakingly re-mixed from the original reel-to-reel tapes by Jeff Morris and are available in stereo for the first time ever with the addition of never-before-heard instrumental cuts.

Likewise, the Joyce Kilmer poem-turned-country-ditty "Trees" has been collecting dust on some cutting room floor for decades and is now available for the first time anywhere.

Featuring liner notes by Dr. Demento.
