From Saibai, W235 (for cello and piano)

There seems to be some doubt as to the date of composition; the work list at http://www.petersculthorpe.com.au/worklist.htm says 1993. It also mentions the first performance being the Pereira recording on the Tall Poppies label from 1999. The liner notes from that CD (which have a copyright by the composer dated 2000) states that the date was 1997. I'm currently treating the web site as authoritative.
