Short ending (totalling 507 measures) is a bunch of sfff chords.
Long ending (totalling 554 measures) is, after the above first 10 chords, a soothing andante recapitulating the work’s opening down to a ppp close.

Saxophone solo part (preferably off-stage) ossia set for oboe 1; possibly done by clarinet 1.
