In 1628 two editions of Frescobaldi's Canzoni were published: one by Paolo Masotti, another by Giovan Battista Robletti. Both editions are mostly similar, but Canzona II is an exception: both editions contains a work with a title Canzona II, but these are completely different works. This entry is for the Canzona II, canto solo (F 8.03b) from the Robletti's edition.
